Luang Namtha is the one of the best places in Laos for rafting and kayaking, with a variety of peaceful river experiences to more challenging rapids of Class 2 & 3. Choose between two great rivers and from a selection of tour packages, including multi-sport adventures that include trekking and bicycling and overnight stays in homestay or ecolodge in ethnic Khmu and Lanten villages. It is also possible to do trips of 1, 2 and 3 days, with visits to both rivers possible on longer tour packages.

Description: The Nam Ha River passes through the Nam Ha National Protected Area, with excellent forests along the river and overnight stay in ethnic Khmu and Lanten villages. Wildlife can be spotted, with some luck, including monkeys!
