Luang Namtha Province has an abundance of traditional festivals, since there are more than 17 ethnic groups in this beautiful province. It is difficult to give exact dates for some of the village festivals because they can change last minute due to the completion of harvest season and readiness of the village so this is a guide only. We suggest you ask a local agent when you are here, so your trekking or touring plans can coincide with these opportunities to get an insight into local culture.
